The Sundial and the Gates of the Sun
Located in the east of Ibiza, they are the work of the renowned sculptor Andrew Rogers, commissioned by Guy Laliberté for his private residence, Can Soleil. The sculpture is made up of thirteen massive basalt columns weighing a total of 420 tons, which were transported by boat from Turkey to Ibiza.
Its tallest column, standing ten meters high, is finished in 23-carat gold to reflect the message at sunset on the day of the winter solstice.
