Welcome to the Eye of Es Vedrà
Preferably, do not be afraid of heights… This secret spot does not really have an official name, but we have nicknamed it “The Eyes of Es Vedrà.” Since then, the name has been adopted by other websites and hiking associations. Thanks to this spectacular rock formation, you get a unique and breathtaking view of Es Vedrà. You are, in a way, looking through the hole, through “the eye,” at our beloved “magic rock.”
A true work of art by Mother Nature.
Most of you probably know the platform from which you can see Es Vedrà, but this place is far less known. The spot is actually quite easy to find, although a certain level of caution is recommended. The walk takes about 20 minutes.

The Eyes of Es Vedrà — Ibiza
Everyone knows Es Vedrà. This spot? Almost no one does.
Just a twenty-minute walk away, the rock opens into two natural arches—“eyes” carved into the cliff, facing the island’s most iconic landmark. Lean through the opening, look out through the stone, and Es Vedrà appears perfectly framed in a way you’ve probably never seen before.
No signs, no official name. Just a natural formation shaped over thousands of years—and one that took us a while to find.
