Clay Bath and Beach Snorkeling

Discover an unusual natural beach ritual in one of the wildest coastal landscapes in Ibiza.

After a short walk, reach a long secret beach beneath towering pale-coloured cliffs. The Mediterranean stretches towards the horizon while turquoise water gently breaks across the sand. Far from the island’s more developed beaches, this raw landscape creates the perfect setting for a playful experience connected to the elements.

Begin by searching the ground for a few pieces of clay that have already detached naturally from the cliff. Nothing is removed directly from the rock face. Only small fragments found on the ground are collected, helping to respect the site.

Next, discover how to transform this raw material. Using the equipment provided by your guide, place the fragments inside a closed container and gradually crush them into a fine powder. Add water and mix everything together until you create a smooth paste ready to apply.

Spread the clay across your body and, if you wish, over your face and hair, carefully avoiding the eyes, lips and other sensitive areas. Have fun creating your own natural mask, drawing patterns across your skin or sharing the moment with the other participants.

Let the sun and sea air begin their work. The paste slowly changes colour, tightens and cracks, turning every participant into a remarkable clay sculpture. Use this peaceful moment to admire the scenery, listen to the waves and take original photographs facing the cliffs.

Once the clay has dried, step into the shallow water and rinse it away. Feel the clay gradually disappear and emerge with clean skin and a pleasant sensation of softness that may vary from one person to another.
