Welcome to the Made in Ibiza Products Tour
Leave the beaches behind for a day and discover a more authentic side of Ibiza through its flavours, traditional craftsmanship and natural heritage. This shared tour is limited to a small group of no more than 8 participants and follows a relaxed pace, giving you plenty of time to enjoy each stop.
Begin the day in a traditional village in the heart of the island. Taste Pata Negra cured ham served with olive-oil toast and your choice of a beer or a non-alcoholic drink. On Tuesdays, this stop is replaced by a selection of varied tapas and a drink at another local establishment.
Continue to a local winery and delve into Ibiza’s winemaking history. Following an introduction to the terroir, indigenous grape varieties and sustainable production methods, taste 4 wines made with grapes grown on the island, accompanied by olives and almonds. Non-alcoholic drinks are available for children and guests who do not drink alcohol.
Next, visit a shop entirely dedicated to Ibiza’s famous sea salt. Learn about fleur de sel, traditionally collected by hand from the island’s salt pans as part of a heritage stretching back more than 2,700 years. Take your time browsing the locally inspired products and shop for souvenirs if you wish. Personal purchases are at your own expense.
Visit an organic plantation and the only aloe vera museum in the Balearic Islands. A specialist will explain the plant’s history, cultivation and many traditional uses. Watch a live demonstration of how a leaf is cut and its gel extracted, taste different aloe vera products, then explore the museum and shop.
Finish the route in an interactive botanical garden presenting the flora and natural habitats of Ibiza and Formentera. Walk among thousands of plants and discover, in an engaging way, how botany, environmental conservation and biotechnology can work together.
Transport between every stop, admission fees and all the tastings described are included. Meet the group at 10:00 AM and return at approximately 6:00 PM. Optional pickup and drop-off are available from anywhere in Ibiza. The order of the itinerary may be adjusted depending on the day and availability while preserving the spirit and overall quality of the experience.
This activity includes pork, bread and tree nuts. Dietary substitutions are not available.
